MEET THE CREATOR OF STANDUP HEALTH
Lorraine Barwick is a nationally recognised Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and health and wellbeing mentor to 1000s of cardiac clients over the past 8 years of working in clinical practice at Sutherland Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. At the end of 2013 Loz, as Lorraine likes to be called, with her husband Dave, took a gap year – a complete lifestyle change, and moved to the Sunshine Coast to recover from their chronic illnesses. Now back in Sydney with their batteries recharged, the Barwicks are on a mission to get people up, moving and more engaged with their own health care. You don’t need to take radical measures to improve it. Start with sitting less, standing more and moving more each and every hour of your waking day!
